Since 1981, the Governor’s Arts Awards have been held to recognize outstanding contributions by Arizona artists, arts organizations, businesses, educators and individuals. The awards honor not only the creative talents of Arizona’s diverse arts and cultural community, but the passion of those who support the arts in our schools, communities and everyday lives.
The 2010 Governor’s Arts Awards took place on Monday, April 19, 2010 at the historic Orpheum Theatre in Downtown Phoenix. For more information, visit the Arizona Citizens/Action for the Arts website.
