Arizona Poetry Out Loud Regional Partners are organizations with strong ties to their local literary and school communities, and are dedicated to creating opportunities for increased student and school involvement in the Poetry Out Loud program.

2011-2012 Arizona Poetry Out Loud Dates to Remember

August 24 – Registration Opens

October 31 – Registration Closes

November 1 – DEADLINE for schools to finalize their school competition date

November 2 – Program materials mailed to all participating schools

February 10 – DEADLINE for schools to hold their competition

February 13 – DEADLINE for school finalists to submit the Regional competition registration form

March 1 – Southern Region Competition
March 7 – Northern Region Competition
March 10 – Central Region Competition

March 29 – Arizona Poetry Out Loud State Finals

May 13-15 – National Finals in Washington, D.C.
