About Us

The Arts Commission intends to inform and support the design and delivery of your arts and integrated arts learning programs.  Generally the strongest programs for school age students are created and implemented through effective partnerships among arts organizations (teaching artists), classroom teachers and arts teachers.

Single event field trips and performances can provide a rich entry point to engagement with the arts for students and may be well appropriate ‘exposure’ experience for students.  Sustained involvement between partners over time strengthens the impact of engagement with the arts and should be encouraged.

The Commission supports quality arts learning programs in after school and community based settings and always encourages lifelong learning in the arts for adult populations in Arizona.
