These professional development workshops for educators provide
strategies and tools which address the topics of creating artist in residence
programs and resources and services available from the Arizona Commission on the
Arts fto develop arts based learning programs. To request a grant workshop

Teaching Artist Workshops
These professional development workshops for teaching artists provide
strategies and tools which address the topics of teaching for understanding,
building and maintaining partnerships, intersections of life as a practicing
artist and teaching artist, ongoing assessment and reflection.

Parent Workshops
Valuing the impact of arts learning.
This short workshop session is designed for parent groups at your school. It
provides simple experimental ways to help parents identify and value arts
learning for their children (and themselves!) The workshop also addresses
advocacy for arts learning and arts learning resources.
