Arizona Music Educators Association - The
Arizona Music Educators Association was established in 1939 as a cooperative
effort of music educators. Since that time, the association has become
affiliated with the Music Educators National Conference (MENC). Special
interests in the Association are represented by four constituent organizations;
The Arizona Band and Orchestra Directors Association (ABODA), The Choral
Directors of Arizona (ChoDA), The Arizona Society of General Music (AZSGM) and
the Arizona Collegiate Music Educators (ACME)
Arizona Alliance for Arts
Education - alliance of organizations
and individuals supportive of arts education, goals are: networking, advocacy
and action to create and implement projects ensuring quality arts education for
all students.

Arizona Center for Afterschool
Excellence - The Arizona Center
for Afterschool Excellence, formerly the Arizona School-Age Coalition, was
founded in 1990 by afterschool professionals from Tempe, Phoenix and Tucson in
order to improve the quality of care in afterschool programs and to support the
budding school-age care profession.
Arizona
Mentoring Partnership - Was established
to foster and support the development of new and existing youth mentoring
relationships throughout Arizona. Our mission is to assist Arizona's school-aged
children by increasing the quality and quantity of mentoring relationships.
Their website includes mentoring statistics, links, and comprehensive listing of
mentoring programs throughout the state.
Arizona School-Age Coalition
- The Arizona School-Age Coalition is a professional association that promotes
high quality care for children and youth during their out-of-school time. AzSAC
strives to serve all stakeholders in school-age care in Arizona by providing
networking, information, advocacy, training and accreditation assistance.

AATE
- The American Alliance for Theatre and Education.
The mission of the American Alliance for Theatre and Education is to promote
standards of excellence in theatre and theatre education, connecting artists,
educators, researchers and scholars with each other, and by providing
opportunities for our membership to learn, exchange, expand and diversify their
work, the audience and their perspectives.
Educational Theatre Association
- works to foster
theater education through resources such as the Teaching Theater Journal.
MENC
- Music Education Association The mission of MENC:
The National Association for Music Education is to advance music education by
encouraging the study and making of music by all. MENC provides access to music
standards, job opportunities, research and resources.
Music Teachers National
Association - founded in 1876, exists to
support music teaching and the art of music, information on national
conventions, directory resources and a lesson links program.
Music Vista - A collaboration of
American Composers Forum, American Music Center, American Symphony Orchestra
League, Association of Performing Arts Presenters, Chamber Music America, Chorus
America, Meet the Composer, and Opera America, provides information and
resources on the nonprofit music world, including policy updates and funding
opportunities.
National Art Education
Association - NAEA is a non-profit,
educational organization that promotes art education through professional
development, service, advancement of knowledge and leadership (over 17,000
professional members, opportunities for educators to network and exchange
ideas, information on annual conferences and membership news).
NASAA - National Assembly of State Arts
Agencies. Through a grant from The David and Lucile Packard Foundation, the
National Assembly of State Arts Agencies and its national and state partners in
arts education are working to improve the environment for arts education
leadership, with a focus on arts education managers at state arts councils,
state arts education teams and partnerships, and communication/information
sharing. This section of the NASAA Web site serves as a locus of information and
resources for the project, entitled the Arts Education Leadership Network
Initiative.
National Dance Association
- seeks to increase
knowledge, improve skills and encourage sound professional practices in dance
education through high quality dance programs.
National Foundation for
Advancement in the Arts (NFAA) - NFAA is
a 501(c)(3) national nonprofit organization. Its mission is to identify young,
emerging artists and assist them at critical junctures in their development. The
Foundation also strives to raise the consciousness and appreciation for the arts
in American society, including fostering interest in the arts among young people
and strengthening arts programs in educational institutions and communities
throughout the nation.

Century Community Learning Centers - A
U.S Department of Education program to provide expanded learning, recreational,
and enrichment opportunities after school in a supervised, safe, and drug free
environment.
After-School Alliance - The After-school
Alliance is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness of the
importance of after-school programs and advocating for quality, affordable
programs for all children. It is supported by a group of public, private and
nonprofit organizations that share the Alliance's vision of ensuring that all
children have access to after-school programs by 2010.

The Coalition for Community
Schools - works toward improving
education and helping students learn and grow while supporting and strengthening
their families and communities. Community schools bring together many partners
to offer a range of supports and opportunities to children, youth, families and
communities -- before, during and after school, seven days a week. Visit their

This online clearinghouse is a joint project of The

information and resources for supporting and sustaining youth programs and

Education Association - NCEA's mission
is to provide leadership to those who build learning communities in response to
individual and community needs.
National
Guild of Community Schools of the Arts -
To foster and promote broad access to high quality arts education designed to
meet community needs. To that end it provides service, advocacy and leadership

Institute on Out-of-School Time -
focuses on research, policy and practice in its efforts to ensure that all
children, youth and families have access to high-quality programs, activities,
and opportunities during the non-school hours

School-Age Care Alliance - NSACA is the
only national membership organization representing the entire array of public,
private, and community-based providers of after school programs. NSACA creates a
reliable, strong and diverse alliance of professionals on the national level and
on the local level through 36 Affiliate organizations. We offer professional
development opportunities through School-Age Review - the journal of the
after-school field. Our continuous support in improvement and review through ARQ:
Advancing and Recognizing Quality. NSACA's program improvement and accreditation
system offers networking and professional development opportunities through the
annual NSACA Conference and promotes national standards and helps shape public
policy
