District Arts Coordinator
What is a District Arts Coordinator?
The Arizona Commission on the Arts (the State Arts Agency)
partners with schools, community organizations and artists to stimulate
and support arts education Pre-K through grade 12. The District Arts
Coordinator is the contact person in school districts with whom we
communicate with regarding matching grants for Artist In Residence, long
range planning, curriculum development, after-school programs,
professional development opportunities, conference and information about
the state, regional and national arts education issues and resources.
