What a Consultancy can do for an Organization

CSP Home  I  About  I  How it Works  I  Options  I  Fees & Funding  I  Consultants  I  Important Info  I  Tools

The intent of the program is to take advantage of the extensive knowledge and experience that exists in the field to build organizational capacity. Consultant services offer learning opportunities that look at causes rather than symptoms, and develop positive aspects of change. The consultant’s role is to help you ask questions and find answers.

Organizations are encouraged to discuss areas of organizational development with Commission staff at any time of year and at any stage of growth to see if a consultancy might be appropriate. You don’t have to wait till it’s broken to fix it!

While the Arizona Commission on the Arts consultant does not implement the goal for you, organizations such as Arts and Business Council of Greater Phoenix provide volunteer professionals to work with organizations on the completion of specific projects. Arts and Business Council of Greater Phoenix also offers workshops in areas of non-profit arts administration, as does ASU Extended University. Although these organizations operate within the Phoenix metropolitan area, their programs are open to statewide participation.
