A seasoned professional of twenty nine years, Barbara Levy has a proven track record of achievements in fundraising, donor relations, volunteer management, special events and campaign management. She has worked with organizations in the arts, education and human services. She has consulted in Arizona and across the country on board development and fundraising.

Barbara is one of 63 individuals in the nation to qualify for and earn the Advanced Certified Fundraising Executive credential issued by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (formerly NSFRE.)

Barbara served as Director of Development for Arizona Opera, Arizona Theatre Company, and The University of Arizona as Director of Development for Arts and Libraries. In her most recent position as CEO of Arizona's Children Foundation, Barbara gained increased contributed support by 150% in her first year and has kept that figure growing while managing a statewide operation.

Barbara is currently Chair-Elect of Leave a Legacy (TM) Southern Arizona. She also serves as a member of the Dean's Board for the College of Fine Arts at the University of Arizona.

As a published professional, Barbara was senior author of Successful Special Events: Planning, Hosting and Evaluating by Aspen Publishers and more recently has contributed a chapter to the supplement to The Nonprofit Handbook edited by James Greenfild and published by John Wiley & Sons, Inc.

Barbara is a graduate of The University of Vermont, The Fund Raising School and The National Planned Giving Institute.
