Phone: 602-236-4501 Cell: 602-809-7632 Ellen Baar Jacobs recently joined SRP as a senior analyst in the Strategy & Evaluation area. Prior to moving to SRP, she was the founder and principal of ebj Research & Market Analysis, a Phoenix-based marketing consulting firm. She has designed and managed qualitative and quantitative research projects on numerous marketing and new product development issues and has substantial experience with group facilitation, surveys, electronic brainstorming and other research techniques. Her clients include a variety of corporations, governments, foundations, and arts organizations. She has a track record of translating research findings into tactical and strategic recommendations and demonstrating measurable results. She has worked with arts organizations on various research projects for Understanding Participation Grants as well as a community cultural plan. Before founding her own company, Ellen was Research Manager for The Arizona Republic for many years. While there, she was responsible for directing market research and competitive analyses to guide business strategies and product development initiatives for advertising, circulation, editorial, and electronic media. Many of the studies she oversaw were in the areas of quality of life and the arts. Ellen received her bachelor’s degree from City College of New York in political science with graduate studies in marketing. She has served on the Boards of Childsplay, the Desert Botanical Garden, and the YWCA. Her work included fund development, marketing and finance, and designing strategies to increase audiences and grow donors. Areas of Expertise:
