Jan Krulick has been a museum educator for the past twenty-nine years. She has extensive experience in teaching adults and children, developing public programs, volunteer and docent management, exhibition interpretation, writing/editing educational materials, school, programs, strategic planning, teacher workshops and art curriculum development. She is currently an independent arts and museum consultant.

Jan was Education Director at the Phoenix Art Museum for 16 years, where she was involved with the complete renovation and reinstallation of a major museum, including the management of the signage/wayfinding project, all didactic labeling, audio-visual needs and the reinterpretation of the collection. She currently serves as a part-time consultant at the museum as Senior Educator for Special Projects.

Previously Jan served as Assistant Director of Education at the Denver Art Museum (six years); Curator of Education at the Beaumont Art Museum (five years); and was the recipient of a certificate from the American Federation of Arts/Getty Institute Museum Management Institute Program in 1990. Jan has served as peer counselor for new museum educators, university interns and other museum education departments around the country (Indianapolis, UCLA, Oklahoma City and Honolulu Academy of Fine Arts). She has organized and made presentations at major national and international conferences.
