480-209-8464 Technology is often sold like an automobile, by flashy sales pitches, vague promises, and odd, ambiguous words. Yet when all is said and done, it is only a tool. The key is selecting the right one for the job. Jo Sparkes entered the Technology Business world with IBM, after graduating Magna Cum Laude from Washington College. She’s worked with large companies in database, storage media, capacity planning, performance tuning, backup and recovery. Using the same methodical, step-by-step approach, she’s led the development of many computer applications. Moving into management, she attended the Supervisor Academy, and found the same analytical techniques apply to people. Defining job requirements, motivating employees, and correcting poor performance all became part of the same system: identify desired results, assign value to them, and find the best solution for the budget. Working for a consulting company, she created a management system to find, interview, and select highly technical staff for clients. Jo is systematic and effective in identifying business and personnel needs, and finding the best solution.
