My entire career has been in not-for-profit management, working for organizations large and small. I am a systems thinker, an insightful generalist who knows how and when to bring in specialty knowledge to accomplish the greater good. I have worked for the Arizona Theatre Company, University of Arizona’s US Presents, was executive director of OASIS (Older Adult Service and Information System) and currently work in Business Development for Tucson medical Center, a community not-for-profit hospital. I find that working with physicians is not much different from working with artists.

Throughout my career, I have served in a governance capacity with many arts organizations, and have always been active in grant writing and grant making, in paid roles, as a board member, and as a grants panelist. I have specialized in creating public/private partnerships, in programming/product development, and in bringing together diverse constituencies to serve a common goal. My reputation within my current organization is as a resource for challenging special projects that require the creation of infrastructure or new systems. I would most like to be tapped as a consultant to assist arts organizations in seeing themselves as a whole, with artistic mission and organizational infrastructure working smoothly together.
