Lynn Timmons was formerly the Touring/Community Development Director with the Arizona Commission on the Arts. She is currently the Federal Relations & Grants Liaison for the City of Phoenix, finding that politics and theatre have much in common! She has worked with artists and arts organizations for the past fifteen years and as a consultant, tries to help rediscover:

• why we do what we do,
• how to get things done the way we want without going crazy,
• to feel positive about ourselves and our contributions to our organizations

Lynn has facilitated board retreats for many organizations, including Business Volunteers for the Arts, Phoenix Boys Choir , the Tucson Jazz Society, Movement Source, the Chandler Cultural Foundation and the Tucson Pima Arts Council. Board retreats require 4-5 hours and result in a 2-3 page action plan, which represents both group consensus as well as achievable goals. Lynn worked on cultural assessments for Page, Flagstaff and Fountain Hills, an organizational assessment for the Verde Valley Concert Association and has conducted marketing and grants workshops for the Sedona Cultural Council and the White Mountain Arts Alliance. Most recently Lynn conducted a Community Cultural Assessment for the Town of Cave Creek.
