Steve
helps gift-supported institutions raise funds by guiding them in
establishing a strategic framework. The framework is leveraged to build
a strong, united culture and results in a sense of fulfillment among
board members and staff. He has more than two decades accomplishment in
providing strategic planning, institutional advancement, fundraising,
organizational development, marketing, and public relations to numerous
diverse organizations. These include Museums, Hospices, Schools,
Colleges, Health Care Institutions, Foundations, and Social Service
Agencies. The nonprofits he serves are in differing categories, yet the
general fundraising model for all nonprofits is the same, regardless of
category. Earlier, Steve spent twenty years in a variety of senior
positions in global sales, marketing and public relations. He chaired
the Centennial Committee at Boston University’s College of Arts and
Sciences. In addition, he headed an alumni annual giving effort for The
Thunderbird School of Global Management. He is a former Board Member of
the Pima County Medical Society Foundation, a former Trustee of
Thunderbird, a Founding Director of The College of John Paul in the
Desert, and a member of the Yale School of Management’s Nonprofit
Ventures Resource Center. Mr. Hall holds an undergraduate degree with
concentration in Government and Philosophy from Boston University, and a
graduate management degree from Thunderbird. He has been selected by the
Arizona Commission on the Arts for its Peer Consultants Roster, is a
published author, has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal and Entrepreneur
Magazine, and has appeared as a principal guest on CNBC’s Money
Talk. A retired Naval Reserve Intelligence Officer, he resides in
Scottsdale, Arizona with his wife, Patricia, and their sons Tully and
