"Too many nonprofits ask to be fed. Carlton & Company teaches them how to fish."

Steve helps gift-supported institutions raise funds by guiding them in establishing a strategic framework. The framework is leveraged to build a strong, united culture and results in a sense of fulfillment among board members and staff. He has more than two decades accomplishment in providing strategic planning, institutional advancement, fundraising, organizational development, marketing, and public relations to numerous diverse organizations. These include Museums, Hospices, Schools, Colleges, Health Care Institutions, Foundations, and Social Service Agencies. The nonprofits he serves are in differing categories, yet the general fundraising model for all nonprofits is the same, regardless of category. Earlier, Steve spent twenty years in a variety of senior positions in global sales, marketing and public relations. He chaired the Centennial Committee at Boston University’s College of Arts and Sciences. In addition, he headed an alumni annual giving effort for The Thunderbird School of Global Management. He is a former Board Member of the Pima County Medical Society Foundation, a former Trustee of Thunderbird, a Founding Director of The College of John Paul in the Desert, and a member of the Yale School of Management’s Nonprofit Ventures Resource Center. Mr. Hall holds an undergraduate degree with concentration in Government and Philosophy from Boston University, and a graduate management degree from Thunderbird.
