602-258-8100 X01 Grant writer training, speakers training, board development, fundraising and funding analysis, conference development and strategic planning are just a few of the specialty areas acquired by Stephanie Small in her 16 years of nonprofit management experience. As the Executive Director of Free Arts of Arizona, a nonprofit organization that provides therapeutic art programs to abused, neglected and homeless children, Stephanie has increased the organizational budget from $30,000 to $650,000 and the numbers of children served from 714 to 6,600 annually. Her skills in building the board of directors, diversifying the funding base, and developing a comprehensive development strategy have been instrumental in growing Free Arts of Arizona from a start-up organization to a well-respected leader in the nonprofit sector. Stephanie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts Administration and has professional experience ranging from managing logistics and educational programs for the Alexandria Symphony Orchestra, to raising $1.6 million for Valley of the Sun United Way, to establishing Free Arts of Arizona.
