Arizona Commission on the Arts The state
agency that connects artists and communities across the Grand Canyon State

includes visual art from a variety of genres, represented by artists from all
over the state. It is evolving, with more artists added each month.
Residency Roster The Residency
Roster features folklorists, artists and performing companies in all
disciplines selected for their artistic quality, ability to communicate about
their artform, and ability to carry out a residency. These selections are made
through a rigorous panel process, which includes a written application, artistic
review and interview.

Purpose of the Southwest Center of the University of Arizona is to work toward a
definition, to illuminate and to present the character, of the Greater
Southwest: the heartland of Arizona, New Mexico, Sonora, and Chihuahua, and its
peripheries.
