Quick Turnaround Grants

Quick Turnaround Grants are reviewed semiannually and are based on a fiscal year calendar (July 1 through June 30 of the following year). Proposed activities must take place within the timeframe of the current fiscal year.

Significant reductions to the state arts budget have led the Arts Commission to limit the types of grants offered for fiscal year 2012. Professional Development Grants are the only Quick Turnaround Grants available at this time.

Guidelines and Application for fiscal year 2012 Professional Development Grants are posted below. Applications will be accepted by mail prior to each of the following deadlines: August 12, 2011 for activities or opportunities taking place between July 1, 2011 and December 31, 2011; and January 13, 2012 for activities or opportunities taking place between January 1, 2012 and June 30, 2012.

Professional Development Grants provide funding to individual artists, arts administrators and arts educators for participation in artistic development and skills building activities or opportunities that contribute to professional growth and career development. Applicants may request grant support up to $750. Professional Development Grants must be matched by a minimum contribution of 25% of the grant amount.
