EGOR

Grants for Organizations & Schools

Organization & School Grants (EGOR) The Commission provides project and administrative grants to organizations and schools. Project and administrative grants support arts activities in urban centers and rural communities, preserve the rich traditions of Arizona's ethnic communities, encourage participation in the arts by people with disabilities and by citizens of all ages, and support strengthened professional artistic and administrative skills of Arizona's arts organizations.

General Operating Support (GOS) Grants assist arts organizations with administrative and/or artistic expenses. General Operating Support Grants are available to all sizes of arts organizations, local arts agencies and tribal museums whose primary mission is to produce, present or serve the arts. Available in Level I, II, III, Tribal Museums, Basic/Locals Aid and Arizona ArtShare Working Capital Reserves.

Project Grants assist all types of organizations with providing quality arts programming to their community. Project Grants are awarded, in general, to assist with the costs of connecting artists (or their artistic work) with the community. These arts experiences are what create public value of the arts and the rationale for the investment of public funds. Project Grants are available in Design/Public Art, Festivals, Literature, Meet the Composer (MTC/AZ), Multidisciplinary Presenting/Projects, Performing Arts - Dance, Theatre, Music, Opera and Visual/Media Arts.

Arts Learning Project Grants The agency helps schools/communities build their arts education programs by providing fee/travel/per diem support for artists/arts organizations and professional consultants in curriculum development and planning, research, artist residencies and professional development.

Arts Link to Tourism and the Economy Grants are accepted annually through our standard grantmaking process. The program aims to support projects that promote a community’s artistic resources through economic development and cultural tourism strategies. The Commission plans to award up to 6 grants of up to $10,000 each to ethnic-run or rural arts organizations or tribal communities for substantial projects.

Visual/Media Arts Project Grants - assist all types of organizations with providing quality arts programming to their community. Meet the Composer Project Grants (MTC/AZ) - assist all types of organizations with providing quality arts programming to their community. Project Grants are awarded, in general, to assist with the costs of connecting artists (or their artistic work) with the community. These arts experiences are what create public value of the arts and the rationale for the investment of public funds.

Multidisciplinary/Presenting Project Grants - assist all types of organizations with providing quality arts programming to their community. Project Grants are awarded, in general, to assist with the costs of connecting artists (or their artistic work) with the community. These arts experiences are what create public value of the arts and the rationale for the investment of public funds.

Performing Arts Project Grants- Dance, Theatre, Music, Opera - assist all types of organizations with providing quality arts programming to their community. Project Grants are awarded, in general, to assist with the costs of connecting artists (or their artistic work) with the community. These arts experiences are what create public value of the arts and the rationale for the investment of public funds.

Literature Project Grants - assist all types of organizations with providing quality arts programming to their community. Project Grants are awarded, in general, to assist with the costs of connecting artists (or their artistic work) with the community. These arts experiences are what create public value of the arts and the rationale for the investment of public funds.

Grants for Individuals

Artist Project Grants The Arts Commission provides assistance to individual artists through artist project grants. Artists apply for project-related funding up to $5,000 for research and development leading to the creation of a work of art.

QTG's

Quick Turnaround Grants The Arts Commission provides quick turnaround grants, available year round for artists, schools and organizations. Grants are available for artist career advancement, planning and development, professional development, sudden opportunities, consultant services and arts learning quick turnaround.

Consultant Services Program - Connects Arizona’s non-profit arts organizations with peer professionals in the field with specialties in areas such as organizational assessment, facilitation, board development, planning, marketing, understanding participation, accessibility, arts education program planning and assessment and more. Grants available for Consultant Services and Community Cultural Inventories.

What the Commission Provides to Artists - An array of programs for individual artists at all stages of professional life. Programs are generally year-round, unless indicated.

The Field Forward Network - Arizona is a Field Forward Network site, sponsored by the Arizona Commission on the Arts. This international program created by The Field NY, Inc., is designed to allow choreographers an opportunity to hone their craft in a rigorous setting utilizing a specific method of peer feedback. PerformingArtsRegister.com - PerformingArtsRegister.com showcases performers who are US residents. The web site serves to connect performers with presenters, agents, and individuals.

Regional Touring Program - Performing artists receive assistance as they seek to expand their touring. Artists may apply for sponsorship to Western Arts Alliance's annual conference in September. ArtistsRegister.com/Arizona - ArtistsRegister.com/Arizona is an online register of Arizona's visual artists. The website is designed to easily connect people interested in visual arts with Arizona artists and their work. The goal of the program is to provide an effective marketing tool and information resource for Arizona artists and an accessible and easy-to-use register for website visitors.

ArtistsRegister.com - ArtistsRegister.com showcases visual art by artists who are US residents represented through many disciplines. The web site serves to connect the artists and their work with private collectors, gallery owners, interior designers, corporate art buyers, public art administrators, and art enthusiasts in general.

WritersRegister.com - WritersRegister.com is an information resource and showcase for literature enthusiasts. The web site is an easy-to-search database of writers who are US residents and provides visitors, including writers, educators, readers, publishers, journalists, and others interested in literature with straightforward navigation tools, a place to collect and review writing samples, and a multitude of information about the local, regional and national literature community.
