Literature
The Arizona Commission on the Arts provides an array of
grants, programs and services for writers and literary organizations.
Grants/Programs - funding which assists
organizations to engage artists to work in the community; assists artists in the
creation of new work; enables artists to further their careers; allows
organizations to stabilize infrastructure.
Services/Convenings
- technical assistance in areas such as assistance in developing grant proposals
to the Commission; public presentations on Commission programs; research in
participation in the arts; referrals to consultants, arts professionals and
other resources; convenings for discipline-specific fields; organization development; consultations for organizations
and individual artists in a wide variety of areas.
Opportunities - listings include opportunities for
artists; educators and teachers; and staff of
organizations and arts administrators to apply for call to
artists, competitions, residency opportunities and attend
professional development opportunities such as local and
national conferences and workshops.

administrators in areas such as health insurance, listservs and e-newsletters,
articles of interest, residency opportunities, assessment, listing of Arizona
Libraries, evaluation, partnership, arts standards, links to other arts learning

more.
