Nominate a Remarkable Individual or Organization for a 2013 Governor’s Arts Award!

Do you know an extraordinary arts educator, organization or supporter? How about an individual artist or community organization involved in the arts? The Governor’s Arts Awards gives you, the public, a chance to nominate a noteworthy Arizonian or organization in Arizona that makes significant contributions to arts and culture in our state. With your nomination, Arizona Citizens for the Arts, the Arizona Commission on the Arts and the Office of the Governor can recognize the artists, arts educators and arts organizations that make Arizona a celebrated and diverse place to be involved in arts and culture.

On Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at The Herberger Theater Center, 222 E. Monroe in Phoenix, AZ, the winners of the 32nd annual Governor’s Arts Awards will be announced. The Honorees are selected by a distinguished panel of Arizona artists, arts advocates and community leaders from nominations made by you!

Nominations will be accepted until Friday, December 14th, 2012 at 5:00 pm, so make your nomination online now!

Who would you like to nominate?

Nominees must be living residents of Arizona, a business that operates in or for the good of the State of Arizona, a school, or a community organization.

Please note: Previous individual recipients of the Governor’s Arts Award, in any category, are not eligible. Nominations, however, can be made for previous corporate, art education organizations or community organizations that have not received the award in the past five years.
