entities that can assist in funding opportunities.
Arizona Commission on the Arts Grants for
Organizations and Schools The Commission provides project and administrative
grants to organizations and schools. Project and administrative grants support
arts activities in urban centers and rural communities, preserve the rich
traditions of Arizona’s ethnic communities, encourage participation in the
arts by people with disabilities and by citizens of all ages, and support
strengthened professional artistic and administrative skills of Arizona’s arts
organizations.
Arizona Commission on the Arts Quick Turnaround
Grants The Arts Commission provides quick turnaround grants, available year
round for artists, schools and organizations. Grants are available for artist
career advancement, planning and development, professional development, sudden
opportunities, consultant services and arts learning quick turnaround.
Arizona Community Foundation ACF
and its affiliates enhance the quality of life for the communities it serves
throughout the state of Arizona and nationally. Using funds entrusted to its
stewardship by donors, ACF makes grants to nonprofit organizations and
governmental agencies. Competitive grants are made from unrestricted funds as
well as from restricted funds including field-of-interest, advised, affiliate,
scholarship, designated and support foundations.
Arizona Humanities Council General
Grants General Grants are competitive awards available for
community-initiated projects that have as their primary purpose to help
Arizonans understand and appreciate the humanities. AHC is especially interested
in funding projects that bring good humanities scholarship to out-of-school
audiences in Arizona. The interpretation of the humanities must be central to
all AHC-funded programs.
Arizona State Library, Archives and
Public Records LSTA Grants LSTA funds are intended to help libraries develop
central roles as community builders. LSTA funds are used to promote improvements
in services to all types of libraries; to facilitate access to, and sharing of,
resources; and to achieve economical and effective delivery of service for the
purpose of cultivating an educated and informed citizenry. LSTA funds are
targeted for statewide library services and support a wide array of programs
from family literacy to providing broad access to sophisticated databases. This
program develops the role of libraries as “information brokers,” helping to
make resources and services, which are often prohibitively expensive, more
readily available. LSTA also supports efforts to recruit and educate librarians.

Expert Source The Arizona Grants Access Tool and Experts Source (AzGATES)

Institute of Museum and Library
Services The Institute of Museum and Library Services is the primary source
of federal support for the nation’s 122,000 libraries and 17,500 museums. Its
mission is to grow and sustain a “Nation of Learners” because life-long
learning is essential to a democratic society and individual success. Through
its grant making, convenings, research and publications, the Institute empowers
museums and libraries nationwide to provide leadership and services to enhance
learning in families and communities, sustain cultural heritage, build
twenty-first-century skills, and increase civic participation.
Phoenix Office of Arts
and Culture Grants Non-profit organizations involved in the arts are
critical to Phoenix's arts community. Whether your organization is a large arts
institution offering the arts to our city and region, a school committed to
teaching and learning through the arts, or a neighborhood center providing a
place for young people to experience their own artistic achievement, your
presence is vital to Phoenix.
National Endowment for the Arts

new and established; bringing the arts to all Americans; and providing
leadership in arts education. Established by Congress in 1965 as an independent
agency of the federal government, the Arts Endowment is the largest national

inner cities, and military bases.
