the field with specialties in areas such as organizational assessment,
facilitation, board development, planning, marketing, understanding
participation, accessibility, arts education program planning and assessment and
more. Grants available for Consultant Services and Community Cultural
Inventories.
Program
Evaluation and Assessment Tools for ongoing evaluation and assessment for
programs. This resource comes from the Arizona Commission on the Arts'
Guide to Grants.
Peer
Consultant Roster - Since 1991, the Peer Consulting Program has provided
affordable and accessible consulting services to the state’s non-profit arts
organizations and local arts agencies. The intention of this program is to make
available the extensive knowledge and experience of these professionals to our
constituents across the state.
Arts
Learning Program The Arizona Commission on the Arts is committed to making
the arts fundamental to education, particularly in programs that serve Pre- K-12
students, classroom teachers, arts specialists, teaching artists and
administrators in school, after-school and summer/inter-session programs.
Literature
Program The Arizona Commission on the Arts provides an array of grants,
programs and services for writers and literary organizations.
State and Local Partnerships The
Local Arts Development Program works in partnership to conceptualize, research,
design and implement programs that have a long-term impact on a local level in
underserved, ethnic, rural and emerging communities for organizations and
individuals; and to develop programs to impact the work of the local arts
agencies around the state.
Performing Arts Program The Performing Arts Program
at the Arizona Commission on the Arts serves the community by ensuring that the
public has access to and benefits from the performing arts – dance, music,
opera and theatre, as well as interdisciplinary events. The program acts as
liaison to statewide, regional and national service organizations in the fields
of dance, orchestral music, theatre and presentation.
Visual Arts Program The Arizona Commission on the
Arts provides an array of grants, programs and services for visual artists and
arts organizations.
Residency Roster This is not a comprehensive
listing of Arizona artists. The Residency Roster is simply a compendium of
artists in all disciplines, selected for their artistic quality, ability to
communicate about their artform and their ability to carry out a residency. Each
artist has been selected through a rigorous artistic review/interview by a panel
of Arizona artists, educators and citizens before being accepted for inclusion
in the Roster. Sponsoring organizations can use the Residency Roster as a
resource for developing school and community programs.
Arizona Presenters
Alliance The Arizona Presenters Alliance is a state wide service
organization for the performing arts presenters in the state of Arizona. We are
committed to communication, cost effective programming and touring of high
artistic merit, professional growth and development, leadership, and advocacy
for the presentation of the arts in Arizona.
Alliance for
Audience a
non-profit association, was incorporated in September, 2003 to serve as a
“convention & visitors bureau for the arts” with a mission to engage new
audiences while dramatically raising awareness of the breadth of the region’s
arts and cultural offerings. Its name speaks to the shared goal of all arts and
cultural organizations – to collaboratively grow audience. On November 15,
2004, Alliance for Audience launched its main project Showup.com.
Showup.com
is the resource for what’s happening in theaters, museums, and outdoor venues
throughout Greater Phoenix and beyond. It offers a comprehensive calendar of
events, bringing together into a single convenient online site information that
was, previously, scattered or not readily available at all. ShowUp.com lets you
click or browse to find performances and exhibitions, classes and workshops,
venues and artists. It even provides you with information about discount tickets
(last-minute and otherwise). ShowUp.com tells you what’s showing up on stages
and at cultural destinations, providing you with date, time, and even maps –
so all you have to do is Show Up.
