Visions of Arizona Exhibition
Visions of Arizona is an art exhibition developed through a partnership between the Arizona State House of Representatives, the Arizona Commission on the Arts and the Arizona Art Alliance to provide visibility for Arizona artist professionals.
From abstract fields of vibrant colors, to the lush beauty of the Arizona landscape, the artworks on view feature a broad range of themes and styles that capture the imagination. Drawing from varied sources of inspiration, each rendering offers a window for contemplation.
Viewers are invited to deepen their engagement with the artwork by scanning the QR code* on the labels. QR codes will take visitors to the websites for the Arizona Commission on the Arts and the Arizona Art Alliance, where you can access information about the exhibiting artists and sponsors of this exhibition.
The collection of artwork on loan is made possible through the generous volunteer efforts of the Arizona Art Alliance, who managed the statewide open call to artists. A review panel convened by the Arizona Commission on the Arts recommended 28 artworks from a juried pool of over 300 submissions. The exhibited artworks were selected in consultation with the House Majority Whip, Representative Debbie Lesko.
