What is the Residency Roster? Artists are creators, interpreters, educators and guides. The talents of Arizona's artists are a resource to be shared and celebrated. The Residency Roster is a tool to identify artists who can provide exceptional learning experiences in the arts. This Roster is a list of professional Arizona artists/ensembles/companies in all artistic disciplines that work in schools and communities throughout the state. They share their work process and products with children and adults in meaningful ways, including hands-on activities, performances, readings and exhibitions. Each artist/ensemble/company listed has participated in a review process to determine their artistic quality, ability to communicate about their art form and their ability to carry out a residency. Listings are made according to discipline. Fees located at the end of each artists' description lists the artists' base fees. Because of the varying needs of organizations, fees for a variety of services are listed. Depending on your situation, further negotiation of fees may be necessary. Note that services offered by Roster companies might be based on a specific number of artists. For different types or lengths of services, or to determine the number of participating artists, discuss the project directly with the potential artists.
