Tools and Resources

Here you will find a variety of tools and resources that will help with your organization needs.  Some of the resources here you may have found in different places on the Commission's site or even within the State and Local Partnerships site, we want to ensure access to all of our services to all of our visitors.

Peer Consultants Roster The Commission’s roster of Peer Consultants is comprised of more than 30 Arizona professionals with years of expertise in arts, business and non-profit administration. All are required to participate in ongoing professional development in order to maintain their status on the roster.  You are welcome to contact any of the consultants at any time, but if you wish to participate in the Consultant Services Program, please let them know that. It is recommended that you talk to Commission staff before contacting a consultant.

Organizational Effectiveness Page The Commission provides a variety of tools, resources, links and ideas for arts organizations of all sizes and disciplines to increase their effectiveness.

Cultural Diversity Plan Information on the required document for GOS applicants, including sample plans.

EGOR - Electronic Grants Online Resource The Commission welcomes grant applications through EGOR from nonprofit organizations, schools/school districts, governmental and tribal entities, and unincorporated organizations providing public arts programs.

ACA Local Arts Agency Booklet Want more information on Local Arts Agencies, or is your community wanting to create a local arts council? Find information on what types of programs Local Arts Agencies do, what are the difference between private and public local arts agencies and find resources to help start a local arts agency in your community.

ACA Community Cultural Inventory Booklet Information includes how the Community Cultural Inventory works, the length of the process, cost, samples of timelines, contracts, and press releases, and resources when thinking of a Community Cultural Inventory.

ACA Bi-National Work with Mexico Report  The Arizona Commission on the Arts is dedicated to creating, maintaining and promoting a healthy cultural relationship with Mexico.  Through grants, programs and collaboration the agency can strategically carry out positive work with our Mexican neighbors.  This report documents the Commission's past work with fostering bi-national work with Mexico.

ACA State and Local Partnerships Division in Review Learn how the The State and Local Partnerships Division works with state, regional, and local entities to conceptualize, research, design and implement programs for organizations and individuals that have a long-term impact in underserved, urban, rural and emerging communities; and to develop programs and resources that impact the work of the local arts agencies around the state. The Division manages the Commission’s community development, government affairs, cultural tourism, and international initiatives.
