SWAC: On the Road

The Arts Commission will not convene a Southwest Arts Conference during fiscal year 2012. We will miss this annual gathering of the arts and culture sector, but recognize the financial challenges many would face in traveling to the event. In lieu of a one- or two-day concentration of workshops, the Arts Commission has leveraged partnerships to bring professional development to you, via local workshops, webinars and more. Working with the Arizona Department of Education, our local arts agency partners, the Arizona office of Tourism, Creative Capital, USArtists and more, the Arts Commission will minimize costs related to delivering professional development opportunities, and whenever possible these will be offered for free or at low cost.

stART
stART is a series of workshops providing professional development and networking opportunities to connect Arizona teaching artists and educators in support of lifelong learning in and through the arts.
