Thursday, July 29, 2010

The Joint Arts Education Conference was presented by the Arizona Department of Education and the Arizona Commission on the Arts, hosted by the Musical Instrument Museum in Northeast Phoenix.

Arts educators, teaching artists and arts administrators from across the state gathered to help shape the future of arts education in Arizona! We released the first-ever census of arts education in our state, and led positive change for arts education in our state and your local communities. Guest speakers included Bob Morrison, lead researcher for the Arizona Arts Education Census, and Rob Davidson, VH-1 Save the Music Foundation.
